As we did not post a treat for yesterday, here are two treats today:

Today's treat is a book based on historical events.  The Trail of Tears is one of the most bitter events in US history, and like all inhumanity against humanity, it continued to cause harm long after it was done.  Native Americans, removed from their homes, driven hundreds of miles in the worst weather, scores of them dying along the way, found themselves locked into Indian Territory, with no way to hunt or farm.
